Saint Helena Day Sail: Private 2 ½ Hour Charter
The adventure begins from a private dock on Saint Helena Island …
where we motor the sailboat for approximately 2 miles (15-20 minutes) on the beautiful Eddings Creek surrounded by miles of salt marsh and wildlife such as herons, otters and of course dolphins.
We then enter the open Waters of the Morgan River and St Helena sound where we can hoist the sails, turn off the motor and sail to the sound of only the wind and the waves.
The serenity of this low country waterway takes on a new dimension as you ride the wind taking in the panoramic vistas.
Dolphins seem to be attracted to the less noisy sailing, often swimming right beside the boat.
Midway through the trip we'll sail past Morgan Island which is home to several thousand free ranging Rhesus Monkeys, occasionally we see them along the beach. Before we return to dock, we’ll venture into the Saint Helena Sound with views of the Atlantic Ocean ahead of us, Otter and Edisto Islands to our North and Harbor Island to our South.
Group Size: This charter can accommodate a group size of up to 6 people and all ages are welcome.
